NetStar Australia appoints Mike Clarke and Eric Doherty as General Managers

Mr Doherty was previously Sales Director for the Northern Region, where he was responsible for significant growth in NetStar Australia’s services business. He has also been involved in the development of NetStar’s managed services in response to customer feedback. Mr Doherty is committed to driving increased customer focus within NetStar, and brings significant experience to the new role.

Mr Clarke was Sales Director for the Southern Region, and brings to his new role experience in both sales and general management. Mr Clarke has driven customer growth in the Southern region as well as strengthening our relationship with existing customers. Prior to NetStar, Mr Clarke was Managing Director of 3Com Australia.

Both Mr Clarke and Mr Doherty report directly to Mr Ed Yang, CEO of NetStar Group of Companies. Mr Yang has overseen the transformation of NetStar Group from a systems integration company to a global IP network solutions and managed services provider. He is also Operating Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners Asia (BPEP Asia), where he is responsible for advising the CEOs of the fund’s portfolio companies. BPEP manages over USD$500 million worth of investment in Asia’s communications and IT sectors.

Mr Yang is actively involved with NetStar Australia’s operations and customers. “Our business is undergoing continual change as we address the challenges prevalent in today's market.
