NetStar Australia Poised for Growth with Four New Appointments

NetStar Australia, a leading IP network and managed solutions provider, has announced the appointment of four new staff at its Sydney offices to support sustained growth since the beginning of the year.

A Cisco Gold partner, NetStar has bolstered its sales and technical staff to support increased requirement for network management offerings across voice, data and security infrastructures.

Henry Ho joins as Senior Voice/Data Architect and brings a double CCIE certification (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) to NetStar’s portfolio of expertise.

Certified Routing and Switching as well as Voice, Mr Ho previously performed senior-level support and design for Telecom New Zealand.

This appointment ensures NetStar is one of only two Cisco Gold partners in Australia with Voice CCIE-certified resourcing. The company has plans to specialise in the Cisco Voice arena with two other engineers due to sit their CCIE Voice certifications imminently.

John Leong has joined as a Network Consultant and brings a wealth of Cisco Networking experience during his ten years’ in the industry. His role will be to advise and assist NetStar’s clients in achieving more with their network investments.

Previously, Mr Leong was Network Manager and Network Architect at Dimension Data focusing on the George Weston Foods client relationship.

Nero Aroyan has been appointed Business Development Manager with 15 years’ experience in the IT industry spent at companies including Netforce, a Powertel Channel Partner, and Protec. His accreditations include Cisco Sales Expert, Cisco Lifecycle and Cisco Advanced IP Communications.

NetStar’s latest hire sees John Collias also appointed as Business Development Manager. He brings 10 years’ experience in the IT&T industry at companies including Soul, Primus and Telecom New Zealand. His accreditations include Cisco Sales Expert, Cisco Lifecycle, Cisco Advanced Routing & Switching and Cisco Advanced IP Communications.
